In the interest of keeping our manual completely current and saving a few trees, we recommend our frequently updated Online User Manual as the best source for user help information. However, we understand that some people just prefer to read from paper instead of a computer screen.

Spring Software Upgrade |

Spring is here, and that means is it time for our second biannual software upgrade.
As you may remember, PMXpert Software releases two major upgrades a year, as well as intermittent updates for software fixes as required. PMXpert recently released its spring upgrade, with new features to help PMXpert work better for you.
New Features
- You can now add, modify and delete procedures directly on the Work Order Service Close wizard
- When manually adding Services to a Work Order, the Scheduled Date will now default to the greater of the current date or the last scheduled date entered
- When creating an Asset, you can now select the Make and Model from drop-down lists, which are generated from the new Make and Model Lookup Tables
- There is now a User Field tab in the Address Book for People categorised as “Labor”
- In the Inventory screen, the Available Stock field will be highlighted red for items with negative stock quantities
- The Attachment tab in the Inventory screen will now turn red if there is an Attachment for the selected Item
- When rescheduling Work Order Services, you can now set the status of the Work Order(s) that contain the rescheduled services
- There is a new Location History By Location report, which displays the Assets that have been in each Location
To download this software upgrade, log in to the PMXpert Support Website and choose the Downloads tab. Select the PMXpert 10.8.0.370 link.
Remember that accessing PMXpert Software's updates and upgrades is one of the major benefits of maintaining your annual Upgrade Protection Plan. If your Upgrade Protection Plan has lapsed, contact our Sales Department at (306) 975-3737 (Press 1) or Sales@PMXpert.com.

PMXpert Software is Going - and Staying - Green |

Today, companies realise that they must take part in protecting the environment. At PMXpert Software, we have been following environmentally friendly practices for years, without necessarily thinking of them as "green". For example, we have been web-conferencing in place of travel when feasible, and providing our software via internet download instead of CD. We have reduced the amount of paper we use by introducing e-brochures for marketing, printing limited amounts of promotional material on demand only, and proving user manuals online. Our office management system has also been set up to store and share documents without needing to print them.
Now, we have decided to formally recognise our green actions. We have implemented new Green Initiatives, with the goal of reducing our impact on the environment. Enhanced Website |

Newly reorganised and redesigned, the PMXpert Website has been enhanced to provide all the information you need in a fresh, easy-to-read format. All the content you remember from before is still available through the Main Menu, which is now located in the left column, but new features make the website more convenient:
- Search for any information you need using the Search this Site box located in the right column of every page.
- Log in to PMXpert Support from any page (if you have an annual Upgrade Protection Plan).
- Click the new Optional Modules item under Software in the Main Menu to find detailed information about PMXpert’s optional modules: Requests, PMXWeb, and PMXAlerts.
- Keep up-to-date with the News page, found under the Company option in the Main Menu. Important news clips will scroll by in the News Highlights box featured on every page.
- Find the latest newsletters featured on the Newsletter page, and use the E-News Archives section in the right column to find past articles by Volume, Heading or Topic.
- Choose your favorite Style for the website’s appearance in the upper right corner: Default, Black & White, or Autumn.
