PMXpert Training

Training sessions and database customisation play a large part in your investment in PMXpert Software. These tasks are conducted in the comfort of your own facility with our trainer customising the sessions to cater to the needs of your organisation and staff members.

 

In order to develop an understanding for exactly what your current procedures are and to discuss how to best incorporate your current procedures and future requirements into your customised PMXpert database, we recommend two days of business analysis, then two days of database customisation and a minimum of three days of training.

 

A class size of one to six people is recommended to allow for hands-on instruction. Please be aware that our recommendations will be tailored to your exact needs once we discuss your requirements with you. Each PMXpert user can have his/her own computer, however, we find that training sessions are most effective when using the trainer's laptop displayed on a projector. The class follows along with the projection and each user is given additional personal instruction by taking turns on the trainer's laptop. There is a training prerequisite of basic computer literacy and you're encouraged to have a data projector organised for the training sessions.

We strongly recommend that the training sessions be conducted onsite, but because we realise that this isn’t always feasible for all clients, we do have an online training option. Training sessions are conducted over the internet and telephone to an individual or small group from your company. This is an excellent tool to assist you with understanding and utilising the software. It is also used to give an overview to new staff members or a refresher for current ones. However, we find that online training is best limited to retraining rather than the initial training and database customisation.

Data Entry is the most important procedure prior to utilising the software. We will do the work for you and eliminate this time consuming process while confirming the data is entered correctly. We provide a checklist of the information we require from your facility, then we enter the data into the program for you. We suggest you follow up In House Data Entry with Onsite or Online Training to provide users with the confidence they need to utilise PMXpert Software specifically for their needs.
